Works great as a launcher for apps you don’t want cluttering up the Dock. I mostly use it to drag-and-drop files to open in apps, onto “hot” folders etc.
Version 3 takes it from a 4-star utility to a 5-star utility:
• “Add to Grid” - Finally! An easy way to add apps and folders without having to dig into a cumbersome Preferences interface.
• Command-drag to re-arrange icons right in the grid - so simple and so right
• Love the Drop Bar - kind of a temporary holding space that can be easier - and more fun! - than moving files between Finder windows (especially when dealing with files several folders deep on volumes)
…and it’s extensible! You can add (or create) other Actions. I’m probably only scratching the surface of what this app can do. However, these extra features are yours for you to discover as you need them - they don’t get in your way if/when you DON’T need them.
