Dropzone 3 App Reviews

This is a great app but the path to transition from the App Store version to the unrestricted version needs fixing. Supposedly you should be able to install the unrestricted version and have it recognize your MAS purchase. In practice, you’ll end up being asked for a serial # (which you don’t get) over and over, after every OS update and most if not all reboots. The amount of administration, (re)downloading MAS and then unrestricted versions, reinstalling all my custom actions, etc., is really outweighing the utility of the program for me.

Being a designer and web developer, this application is a beast! It makes my workflow so much faster! Its nice not to have to open the application and then open the file I need to use. Not only does Dropzone make it easy to just drag and drop the file you want into the application you choose, but also a great way to quickly organize files. I have this application start when my mac powers up because its so useful and a staple in my workflow. Great App! No Complaints!

I dont like having my desktop cluttered about with this and that. Instead, I use a cloud with commonly used shortcut files on my desktop - NOW Dropzone. This saves me time, keeps my workspace clutter free, and sync’s my files between all devices. Lastly, I waited to give my review after a thorough using of its features and it has been without flaw. The only thing I would suggest would be to wait to turn off computer until all files have synced properly - but this is not an issue with Dropzone (its internet bandwidth). -thanks much! very satisfied here.
